Medicine Drum Birthing Retreat – Terms & Conditions
By purchasing a ticket to the Medicine Drum Birthing Retreat - held 16th-18th May 2025
you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. No Refund Policy
Due to the nature of this retreat, all payments are final and non-refundable. This policy is in place because significant costs are paid upfront to secure materials, accommodation, catering, and preparation for each participant. Your spot and materials are custom-prepared specifically for you.
2. Transfer of Ticket
If you are unable to attend the retreat, you are welcome to transfer your ticket to another woman who would benefit from the experience. It is your responsibility to organise this transfer and to inform us of the new attendee’s details no later than 72 hours before the retreat begins.
3. Materials Sent for Home Use
In the event you are unable to attend and cannot transfer your ticket, you may choose to have your full drum birthing kit posted to you. This allows you to birth your medicine drum at home, in your own time and space. Postage fees may apply. This option must be confirmed at least 48 hours before the retreat begins.
4. Cancellations Due to Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that life can bring unexpected challenges. However, as this is a grassroots event with limited places and significant upfront investment—including paid catering and prepared materials—we are not in a position to offer refunds under any circumstance, including illness, personal emergencies, or travel disruptions.
5. Responsibility & Care
By attending the retreat, you agree to participate at your own risk and to take full responsibility for your own health, safety, and wellbeing throughout the weekend. Please inform the facilitator of any relevant medical conditions or accessibility requirements ahead of time.
6. Respect for Sacred Space
This is a ceremonial and sacred gathering. Participants are expected to arrive with respect, presence, and openness. Any behaviour that is disrespectful, disruptive, or harmful will not be tolerated.
